The ways in which tape art can applied are incredibly varied. Instead of attaching tape on even surfaces, this medium also allows an artist to build room filling structures such as in this project. In this artwork the yellow tape lines which are attached parallel and symmetric to each other, leave the two-dimensional space every now and then, to enter the three-dimensional room and thus create a pattern that seems to float through the air from one compound or wall to the other.
We did „air-taping“ in this tape art project in different parts of the building, ranging from offices to meeting rooms and halls to the staircase. This way, we created a piece that can be observed in any space of the house. At times, we also taped on the floor or other surfaces to complement the innovative air-taping technique with traditional tape art pieces.
