Tape That x The Haus
One of our favourite projects in 2017 was ‘The Haus – Berlin Art Bang’. This initiative invited more than 100 artists to fill an abandoned building in Berlin with their very own artworks. We were one of these lucky artists who even got the opportunity to create an artwork right at the entrance of the building – the very first piece a visitor gets to see when entering the house.
For our work at The Haus, we decided to create an anamorphosis made out of tape and paint. The foreground of our piece is painted in grey colors, which is underlined by an abstract and almost explosive pattern of tape in all colors and sizes in the background. Thus, a piece is created which represents a mixture of paint and tape, chaos and order, as well as colorful elements and monochromacity.
