CUBA

We started the year 2019 with a „Tape Art Around The World“ Project in Cuba – in cooperation with the German Embassy in Havana and the Fabric De Arte Cubano. At the Fabrica we taped three containers of the facade with a combination of a woven „TapeThat“ typographic style and colourful abstract 3D line-art. Inside the Fábrica we created cracking walls revealing colourful areas with different styles of Tape Art. At the german embassy in Havana we created an artwork as a homage to Alexander von Humboldt in a combination of a bust-style portrait and an abstract floral background in memory of his researches in nature. At the residency of the german ambassador we created an abstract artwork made out of vertical lines playing with perspective and illusion.
